Mr. Miller directs HR Strategies & Solutions, Inc.'s efforts in the areas
of Organizational Redesign, HR Strategic Planning, Employee Relations and Change
Management.
Well respected throughout the HR profession as a pragmatic
problem solver, Mr. Miller is known for his approach to business solutions
via thorough research and in-depth knowledge of industry.
His specific expertise is found in HR Strategy and Development
with particular emphasis on the categories of restructuring; realignment
of the HR function; union avoidance; alternative dispute resolution; arbitrations
and labor negotiations; development and communication of difficult culture
change initiatives; succession planning; career pathing; sensitivity programs;
and OFCCP/EEOC interface management.
His versatility allows him to adapt from consulting for
start-up businesses to the direction of Human Resources within a Fortune
20 company. Before establishing HR Strategies & Solutions, Inc. Mr.
Miller was Director of Employee Relations for PECO Energy Co., Philadelphia,
PA. In that position he led PECO's restructuring through downsizing and
directed its implementation. Prior to PECO he served in various HR positions
for Black & Decker Corp.
He holds an MBA from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia,
PA, and a Bachelor's Degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He
has also been an invited speaker at the Industrial Relations Research Association
and the Nuclear Human Resource Professionals.
