Mr. Bossinger's, whose primary expertise is in the area
of employee and labor relations, is highly regarded for his collective
bargaining and grievance resolution skills. Mr. Bossinger also has extensive
experience as a line manager in nuclear and fossil plant environments.
As an elected IBEW union officer he was Chairman of the
Miami Local Union Executive Board and a delegate to the Florida Electrical
Workers. Mr. Bossinger was a negotiator for the IBEW system council representing
fossil and nuclear plant employees from 11 Local Unions in collective bargaining.
Later, after moving up through the ranks into FPL management, he was responsible
for negotiating the first nuclear plant section of the FPL collective bargaining
agreement.
Since retiring from FPL, Mr. Bossinger has served as
Sr. HR Specialist for Exelon Byron Nuclear Plant and completed an assignment
for American Electric Power as Nuclear Generation Group Human Resources
Manager. In these assignments he was responsible for reorganizing the HR
Department at Cook Nuclear Plant and was also responsible for developing
and presenting diversity training for all station personnel at Byron.
Mr. Bossinger has also been involved in:
- Development and
facilitation of communication training for first line managers and
craft employees.
- Arbitration preparation and council support, and has
also served as an arbitration panel member.
- Development of collective bargaining
strategy which included the drafting and interpretation of contract
language.
- Facilitated
and taught management leadership training at FPL's corporate training
facility.
- Advise senior management on labor strategies and solutions.
- Staffing
in a change management environment.
- Facilitate performance management
redesign.
- Investigate employee concerns and EEO issues.
Mr. Bossinger attended Purdue University where he received
a 2 year certification in Electrical Engineering Technology and is certified
in Advanced Labor Law (IAML)
Attended numerous training programs to include: American
Arbitration Training, Win/Win Bargaining, “Getting to Yes” presented
by Cornell University and “Effective Negotiation Skills.”
