As Sr. Consultant performing Project leadership for HR
Strategies and Solutions, Inc., Mr. Bolin’s expertise is in Employee
Relations, Change Management, Management Development, Staffing, Diversity,
Investigation and Response to EEOC and Employee Concern issues. Prior to
HRS&S, Mr. Bolin was HR Manager at Duke Power Company where he has
twenty-one years of Human Resources and Employee Relations experience.
His most recent managerial assignment was at the Oconee
Nuclear Plant, where for six years he managed an HR workforce of 130 employees
with 112 of those being Nuclear Security employees. He has also performed
in an internal role as HR Consultant in the Power Group developing programs,
having a lead role in developing policies and procedures for Duke Power
Company, management development and addressing employee issues and concerns
for the President of Duke Power Company.
Mr. Bolin has either sponsored or was instrumental in

- Staffing for the nuclear plant, including the review
and approval of position descriptions

Since retiring from Duke Power, Mr. Bolin has served
successfully as a recruiter Consultant at American Electric Powers, Cook
Nuclear Plant. This was two different assignments that totaled approximately
one year. During this assignment Site HR staff used Mr. Bolin’s experience
to improve HR Organization, Processes and direction and a portion of this
time was spent providing leadership to the employment function. Mr. Bolin
has also served in the capacity of consultant for a labor/employee relation’s
assessment at West Valley Demonstration Project, New York.
In addition, Mr. Bolin served on the Tri-County
Business Advisory Committee for four years at Tri-County Technical College,
Anderson, S.C., and Board of Directors for A Child’s Place, Charlotte,
N.C., and a steering team member of Nuclear Human Resource Professionals.
Mr. Bolin attended the University of South Carolina at Union, S.C. and
several specialized courses at University of Georgia, Medical University
of Charleston and North Carolina State University.
