Nuclear Total Rewards Community of Practice


At the March 2001 NHRG Conference co-hosted in Orlando, FL with the Nuclear Energy Institute, a nuclear labor relation’s project was formed to complete the following charter & project objectives.

   Nuclear Total Rewards Charter

The NHRG Total Reward’s Project Charter is:

To provide a forum for benchmarking nuclear jobs and reviewing the Towers Perrin Compensation and Pay Practices Surveys and to provide continuous improvement in nuclear total rewards programs to better meet the nuclear power industry needs. 

The Nuclear Total Reward’s Project Objectives are:

  • Annual Tower’s Perrin Salary Survey: provide a forum for the utilities and Towers Perrin to benchmark nuclear jobs, compensation evaluation and surveys.
  • Benchmark Nuclear Total Rewards Issues: provide a forum to discuss benchmarking issues in the area of nuclear total rewards and compensation.  See Member section: NHRG Nuclear Total Rewards Presentations & Reports & Surveys
  • NHRG-Total Rewards Contact List: to maintain a contact list for additional benchmarking during the year by the NHRG or individual utilities.
  • Annual Meeting: The Nuclear Total Reward’s participating companies meet at least once a year prior to the annual NHRG Conference to discuss and benchmark the nuclear compensation issues.
