As a principal for HR Strategies & Solutions, Inc.
Mr. Grosh has broad and proven expertise in staffing and recruitment, organizational
design, leadership development, line management, technical sales, labor relations
and union avoidance gained through over 30 years of increasingly responsible
operations and human resources positions in the utility industry.
Prior to joining HR Strategies and Solutions, Mr. Grosh
completed a varied career with Peco Energy / Exelon Corporation which included
diverse assignments in Transmission and Distribution, Nuclear Generation,
Telecommunications, Customer Services and Human Resources. His breadth
of experience in plant, division and corporate positions enables him to
uniquely embrace a line management perspective in the development and execution
of strategic business solutions.
With Peco Energy / Exelon Corporation, Mr. Grosh:
- Managed the union avoidance strategy which successfully
withstood multiple organization attempts by the IBEW, UWUA and IGA.
- Partnered
with key management to design and implement multiple re-engineering/
restructuring programs affecting thousands of employees with few legal
challenges.
- Managed the establishment of multiple career centers
which supported a significant number of outpaced employees in their
transition to alternate
career opportunities.
- Directed a geographically diverse company department
staffed with electric and gas technicians providing outage restoration
and gas trouble services.
- Developed and managed a sales program providing
cutting edge telecom and value added utility metering equipment to
deregulated corporations
on a nation
wide basis.
His specific expertise is grounded in HR strategy and
development with emphasis in labor relations and union avoidance, performance
appraisal, leadership development and organizational change strategies
in a business partnership role.
Mr. Grosh has been certified as a Health Physics
and Chemistry professional by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and is
a former elected union official. He holds a BS in Business Management
from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA. In addition, he attended the
Smeal College Business Executive Program at the Pennsylvania State University.
